Borrowing Library Materials
Apply for a Library Card
The Rushville Public Library is a city library. To obtain a library card, you must either own property or reside within the city limits. If you do not have property or live in the city limits, you may purchase a family card for those who reside in your household. The cost is $50 dollars per year per household. To register, please come to the library to fill out an application for a card and bring a form of ID with your address on it.
Guidelines for Borrowing Materials
There is a limit of 10 items per patron
Books, audio books, music, CDs, and movies can be checked out for 14 days
Fees & Renewing Materials
Overdue materials are charged $0.10 per day, per item. The library will send one overdue notice. If materials are not returned, then you will be asked to pay for the materials.
